In Romania, my home is in the small town of Miercurea Nirajului, in the heart of Transylvania. I find the landscape here captivating, not only for the rolling hills, the forests and fields, the ever-changing skies, and its strongly contrasting seasons, but also for the visible presence of generations of rural people and their timeless traditions.
